Working with Weber has been one of the most amazing opportunities I have had as an athlete. You do not see trans or fat athletes represented in media very often. Weber takes photos of me that make me feel strong, empowered, and really show others what athletes of all sizes, and backgrounds can do. I will always be grateful for Weber who provided me with the very first photos I ever saw of myself as an athlete, because generally folks do not capture bodies like mine. I recommend Weber to anyone who wants a photographer that can capture the essence of ALL players, no matter their bodies, abilities, or presentation. Weber is the resident photographer for my flag football league, and he does amazing work! He doesn’t just capture great catches and flag pulls, he gets much more than that. He captures the joy when someone scores their first touchdown. He captures the determination on the rusher’s face as they go in for the sack. He captures the essence of friendship and community when he takes pictures of the post game celebrations or when he captures the other team helping an opponent back to their feet. Weber doesn’t focus on one body type, one idea of what an athlete is, or one gender. He is a fair photographer who is there to get that shining moment for everyone.
